“I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world.”
– Mother Teresa

Psalms 146:5-10

Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD their God. He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD.

A New Year

A new year is always full of  hopes and dreams, and whether or not they all come true, I like to start off the year ready for anything. To me it's like setting off on an adventure,
never knowing what to expect but excited for all of it. And even I'd expect  some difficulties I know that overall it will be so much more than just that trip. Whatever happens will change you, and whatever you learn will stay with you forever. And you never know where your adventures will take you.

So, another year has passed full of memories and a fresh one has come with new chances. I always try to guess some of the happenings of the coming year, but I never come close to all of the many things that always seem to happen unexpectedly. This last year was no exception, the hard times and good times too. Overall I feel like it was a year of growth and the beginning of some really special friendships. Ones that I will forever treasure. I know this next year will offer more of the same, opportunities and growth and I am SO excited for both. Through all the changes and new experiences (like mission trips:) that will come, I know that all will be good.
