“I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world.”
– Mother Teresa

Psalms 146:5-10

Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD their God. He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.  Matthew 25: 35-36
I was 14 years old when God placed an idea in my heart that would lead me to where I am today. It was the simple truth that I was made for something greater than comfort, happiness, and a normal life. I realized how unfulfilling life is if you are only looking to serve yourself. It was then that I knew that my life could only have purpose if I chose to live for God and others. So, here I am living in a third world country, content and finally free to live my life exactly as I was always meant to, for God.

This year is only the beginning of what God has called me into, but I trust God to take me through today and with time I will reach all that He has for me in the future.  Until, then I will put my faith and trust in Him because God is good and works out all things, especially when they might seem impossible. Because, as I've learned in my own life, nothing can stop the will of God.
